| Geography Club - On Thursday! This Month Germany will be explored! Who: 1st-12th grade When: May 17th from 2-3:30 Where: Melissa Sulzer's house, 100 A Griffith Court What: We will be learning about Germany- the heritage, the current culture, their food, and a little of their language. Students will want to do some solo research to enhance their learning and share with the group. Contact: Melissa Sulzer at 459-1915 by May 8th if you are planning on coming. Parents are asked to stay during this time. |
| Field Trip Where: Hill Haven Ceramic Center in Huachuca City When: Friday, May 16 at 1 PM We will go and choose a "Paint and Take" ceramic piece to paint. Average cost will be $10 to do one piece (depending on what piece you choose). They've said to allow up to three hours so plan on till about 4 PM (which is when they close). | CHECC Used Curriculum Sale When: Monday, May 19 Time: 2-4 PM Where: Immanuel Lutheran Church Bring your used curriculum to sell or trade or come to shop. Each person must take care of their own sales. If you bring curriculum - come early enough to set up. Church will open at 1:45 PM. | CHECC Talent Show date Changed! The date of the talent show has been changed to May 17th during the CHECC annual picnic. What: Encourage your children to come and share their talents - sing a song, perform a skit, juggle, read a poem or other dramatic reading, play music on an instrument...share whatever talent the Lord has blessed them with. | Battle of the Bands. What: CHECC Student Council will be hosting a Battle of the Bands Competition during the annual CHECC picnic. Prizes will be awarded. Info: Two rules - at least one band member must be a member of CHECC and lyrics must be approved in advance. When: May 17th from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
